Privacy and cookies

This is a private website of a musician, not a company. It collects as little as possible: a message you send through the contact form, and — only if you agree — anonymous visit statistics.

Who is responsible for your data

The data controller is Adam Smentoch, Aleja Wolności 2c/1, 84-300 Lębork, Poland — a private individual, running the Dust Anthem music project.

E-mail: dustanthem@gmail.com
Phone: 531 159 442

The contact form

When you write through the form, the site stores your name, e-mail address, subject and message. Together with them it saves your IP address, browser identification and the page you came from — this is what stops the form from being flooded by bots.

The legal basis is legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR): answering someone who wrote to me. Messages are kept for up to 24 months from the last exchange, then deleted.

Visit statistics

The site uses Google Analytics 4 to know how people find the music — which pages they open and where they came from. It never learns who you are.

Statistics run only after you accept them. The legal basis is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any moment. IP addresses are anonymised. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland; data may be transferred to the United States under the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

Honest detail: if you decline, Google Analytics still sends a single signal with no cookie and no identifier that would let it recognise you on a later visit. This is how Google Consent Mode works on every site that uses it.

Which cookies are used

Before you decide, the site sets nothing. The list below is complete.

Withdrawing is as easy as giving it. The button below opens the cookie banner again — you can decide differently, and the statistics cookies stop being set from that moment.

Your rights

You may ask for access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, or object to it. You may also receive a copy in a machine-readable format. One e-mail to dustanthem@gmail.com is enough.

If you believe your data is handled wrongly, you may lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych), ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warszawa, Poland.

Hosting

The site runs on a server operated by a hosting company acting on the controller’s instructions. The server keeps standard access logs (IP address, date, address of the page requested), which are used to keep the site running and secure.
